I closed out Day 1 of AFROTECH 2023 showing off boozed.ai.
It's an AI-driven cocktail making and dispensing system for events. You interact with it, it makes you a drink. I designed and built the application layer in React and Flask alongside Opeyemi Olaleye.
Building something is one thing. Standing next to it while strangers use it is another. Watching people walk up, figure out the interface, wait for the machine to do its thing, and react when the drink actually came out was the best part of the night. You get feedback in real time, on people's faces, which no amount of testing gives you.
Best demo environment I could ask for.
